Introducing: KnowMore, a podcast addressing challenges faced by Charlotte’s economically-vulnerable citizens and collective solutions to make a positive impact.

Common Wealth Charlotte (CWC), a Charlotte-based nonprofit dedicated to helping clients rise out of financial insecurity, recently launched KnowMore, a 12-episode podcast that will provide a forum for in-depth conversations regarding local economic hardships faced by Charlotte’s underserved communities.

Hosted by Chuck Jones (Executive Director of CWC), the KnowMore podcast will be partnering with some of Charlotte’s nonprofit leaders, civic influencers, and other key community stakeholders. Intended as a place for listeners to hear firsthand the challenges our economically-vulnerable neighbors face, this podcast will also provide observations on how we as a community can collectively address these challenges and provide long-term solutions for the betterment of Charlotte’s citizens.

Featuring a different guest speaker in each episode, KnowMore will address topics ranging from: emerging economic challenges, housing, municipal engagement, and food insecurity; to challenges specific to single parents, the Latinx community, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship and trust-based philanthropy. Guests will focus on current situations facing the Charlotte community, dive into the depth with which these challenges are affecting individuals in their day-to-day lives, and offer solutions that will allow our collective community to say “No More!”

"I believe good things always begin with a conversation,” said Jones. “Each episode of KnowMore is a conversation with someone who knows both situations and solutions to some of our community’s toughest challenges.”
