An Impactful Morning with Croissants, Community, and Conversations
Over the past decade, CWC has proven every day that a dedicated client can successfully move away from continual reliance on government or charitable assistance into graduated tiers of financial capability. In celebration of this year’s Financial Literacy Month, CWC hostedCheers to Ten More Years: Croissants, Community, and Conversations.
For over ten years, hundreds of individuals have engaged in some capacity to help move CWC's mission forward in serving 30,000+ clients. On April 14, the community came together and celebrated this collective contribution made in enhancing the lives of our clients. During this event, guests had the opportunity to:
Hear from Tobin, a client who spoke about how CWC helped him build credit and learn the importance of generational wealth. You can read his (and other clients') stories here.
Meet our new CEO, Tashara Brown, and hear about her strategic plan in moving CWC's mission forward through the next 10 years, and beyond. If you were unable to attend and would like to meet with her, please click here for her Calendly link.
Learn how to get engaged with CWC through donating time, money, or social capital by way of spreading the word through partnerships or social media (FB/LI: commonwealthcharlotte & Insta/X: cwclt).
This was such an incredibly impactful morning for everyone in attendance, and CWC is excited to host again next year. Thank you to everyone for the investments, referrals, and support given throughout the years...now, cheers to ten more years!
And a huge thank you to the sponsors who made this event possible: Chapman and Cutler LLP, Vanguard, Sharonview Federal Credit Union, Skyla Credit Union, and Southern First Bank.
